Dr. G. Ross Segal is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and co-owner of Bryn Mawr Orthodontics, recognized as a Philadelphia Magazine Top Dentist and one of Incisal Edge Magazine’s “40 Under 40.” With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Segal has co-founded one of the most successful orthodontic practices in the Tri-State area, known for delivering advanced treatment with an artistic approach to smile design.

Inspired early by his mother, a cosmetic dentist and Harvard educator, Dr. Segal learned the philosophy of creating smiles that naturally “fit the face”—a guiding principle in his work with braces, Invisalign, and esthetic orthodontics. He is a nationally recognized expert in smile esthetics, presenting Board-approved continuing education seminars to hundreds of dental professionals, lecturing at Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University, and appearing on 6ABC and Fox29. His research on orthodontic root resorption has been cited in more than 150 publications, and his articles appear in leading dental journals such as Dentistry IQ.

At Bryn Mawr Orthodontics, Dr. Segal is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care that blends science, technology, and artistry. Outside the office, he enjoys skiing with his wife Elana, dancing with his daughter Alexa, wrestling with his son Jordan, playing with their puppy JoJo, and practicing martial arts—a lifelong passion that makes him one of the few orthodontists with a fighting cage in his basement.
