Karen Conn, DMD, MS
Dr. Karen Kandel Conn is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and co-owner of Bryn Mawr Orthodontics who has earned numerous prestigious recognitions, including Philadelphia Magazine Top Dentist, the Lucy Hobbs Award for Clinical Expert, and inclusion on Incisal Edge Magazine's national "40 Under 40" list.
Inspired by her own transformative orthodontic experience as an adolescent, Dr. Conn pursued dentistry through the University of Pennsylvania's highly-selective Seven-Year Bio-Dental Program, earning her undergraduate degree magna cum laude and graduating from Penn's School of Dental Medicine before completing her orthodontic residency at Temple University, where she also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her innovative use of advanced technology in braces and Invisalign treatment, receiving the S. Eugene Coben Award for "Advancing the Field of Orthodontics" and being featured in global publications about the future of orthodontics.
Dr. Conn maintains strong academic connections through lecturing, mentoring, and leading a Spear Study Club while providing personalized, high-quality care to patients at her practice, driven by her passion for creating the same life-changing transformation she experienced as a young patient. She lives in Penn Valley with her husband and two children, enjoying photography, community philanthropy, and time at the Jersey Shore when not creating beautiful smiles.
G. Ross Segal, DMD, MS
Dr. G. Ross Segal is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and co-owner of Bryn Mawr Orthodontics who has earned numerous prestigious recognitions, including Philadelphia Magazine Top Dentist and Incisal Edge Magazine's "40 Under 40" list, while co-founding one of the most successful practices in the Tri-State area over his 20+ year career. His passion for creating beautiful smiles began early when he assisted his mother, a successful cosmetic dentist and Harvard educator, learning her artistic approach to creating smiles that perfectly "fit the face" of each patient—a philosophy that continues to guide his orthodontic practice today.
Dr. Segal has become a recognized expert in smile esthetics, delivering popular Board-approved seminars attended by hundreds of dental professionals, guest lecturing at Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University, and being featured on 6ABC and Fox29 news. His expertise is further demonstrated through his published articles in leading trade publications like Dentistry IQ and his landmark research on orthodontic root resorption, which has been referenced in over 150 separate publications.
When not treating patients, Dr. Segal enjoys skiing with his wife Elana, dancing with his daughter Alexa, wrestling with his son Jordan, playing with his puppy JoJo, and practicing martial arts—a passion he's pursued since age 14 and may make him the only orthodontist with a fighting cage in his basement.

Invisalign is discrete, nearly invisible, comfortable, and removable.
Damon Metal Braces
We use Damon metal brackets, a revolutionary system that uses gentle forces to broaden your smile and create a more natural look. Damon brackets hold the wire in place with a door mechanism so you don’t need elastic ties (if you prefer) and fewer appointments are needed.
LightForce Clear Braces
We use LightForce 3D-printed clear brackets, which allow us to custom-craft every aspect of your smile. Utilizing state-of-the-art digital treatment planning software, Dr. Conn and Dr. Segal create a digital mockup of your treatment and planned final result, and then we 3D print custom brackets that fit your unique teeth precisely.
